350 PDX

  • Focus: Climate Change
  • Location: Portland, Oregon
  • Date Website Launched: April 2015

350 PDX is the Portland Oregon chapter of the national 350.org which is building a global climate movement. They do this through several channels, including: online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions which are coordinated within a global network active in over 188 countries.

350 PDX needed a web presence that would reflect their diversity of people, as well as the programs they’re involved with. The new site needed to allow for better posting of blog content, a more robust means of managing their calendars and events, while furthering their social media outreach. They needed to be able to maintain their website easily on their own–and the site needed to be fully responsive to various mobile devices.

We branded the home page to focus on the organization’s diversity, humanity and energy. We significantly broadened the content points and areas of interest, elevating the Home page to be more than just a “blog”, within an uncluttered structure that made sense.

Since this new website is built on the WordPress platform, the client has great control over content and its many content developers. And by applying proper styling techniques, the website is responsive on various screen sizes and devices.

“The site you’ve designed looks great and has many terrific aspects that are a major improvement over our previous website. Thank you!”

Anriana Voss-Andreae, MD PhD, Chair, 350 PDX
